In thiscontext, people try to put the traffic partic ipant, vehic les, and the road system andcomprehe ns ive research together and to apply the application o f var io us high-techs tosearch intellige nt transportatio n system to solve the traffic proble ms. As the core andfoundatio n of inte lligent transportation s yste m, dyna mic tra ffic ass ignme nt has beenthe research hot spot and investigates focus in the field of inte llige nt transportation.However, fro m current research, the existing dyna mic traffic assignmentalgor ithm and models have a great difference in practica l application, the obstacles ofwhich are includ ing:(1) the inp ut data is difficult to invest, whic h mea ns the temporalOD matr ix is hard to get precise ly;(2) the existing a lgor ithm for dyna mic trafficass ignment model need a mass ive calculatio n that can hardly used in calculate the realtraffic network;(3) the existing dyna mic traffic assignme nt cannot descr ibe the trafficmeasures and behavior of real traffic cond ition exactly and properly, such as trafficsigna l contro l methods and vehic le tur ning move ments. Therefore the research ontemporal OD matr ix estimation and dyna mic traffic assignment mode ls has asignifica nt va lue.Based on OD matr ix estimation and dyna mic traffic assignment princ ipals, thispaper pro mote a method interacting between these two aspects. For the comple x urbantraffic proble ms, with Changsha a specific area as the research object, to ana lyze thecity road network traffic congestion on the basis of the measured data, the paper haveestablis hed the interacting model s ystem based on temporal OD estimation andDYNAMEQ dyna mic traffic assignment. The author has researched the relativetechniques, such as temporal OD matr ix estimates, DYNAMEQ dyna mic trafficass ignment s imulation mode l, and mode l parameters calibratio n. This paper detailedintroduces the process of estimation te mporal OD matrix based on the intersectionturning flows, DYNAMEQ dynamic traffic ass ignment s imulation model, the syste mmodel establis h and the model para meters ca libration. The research can provide somereference for med ium d yna mic tra ffic assignme nt s imulation model in the applicationand researches.
