Abstract/Summary:
At present, in domestic most of the natural gas engine is developed based on theexisting gasoline engine or diesel engine. Due to the different physical and chem icalproperties between natural gas and gasoline, the natural gas can’t full play to itsadvantages under the condition of direct use of natural gas fuel without the enginestructure optimization.This paper develops a natural gas engine on the base of a port-injection gasolineengine. At first, this paper designs and calculates the LNG gas supply system,including Carburetor and piping; then according to the original engine model the LNGengine model is established; On the basis of LNG engine model the enginecompression ratio and gas distribution phase are optimized; finally this puts forward amathematical model of gas engine ignition advance Angle calibration, in order toovercome the defects of the traditional calibration methodResults show that power performance and economy of the nature gas engine areimproved significantly after optimization. The results of this paper have certainreference value for the development of natural gas engines. In this paper, ignitionadvance Angle optimization mathematical model is effective.
