Outlet Architectural Design Research And Practice

As a new commercial retail building in recent years, Outlet’s appearance not onlyenrich the commercial retail building, but also changed people’s traditional mode ofshopping, and commercial construction has injected new vitality. With outlets in therise of Europe and the United States, just a few years outlets has been all over theworld. In recent years, outlets rapid development in China, now has more than ahundred. The development of outlets in global world has matured, however, fewoutlets are truly successful since the high construction speed and lack of maturetheoretical basis and practical experience. In fact, as a completely new commercialbuilding type, outlets building with its unique design thought, must be different fromother commercial building on architectural features and design.This article reviews the history of outlet, summarize the development of outlets athome and abroad and analyze the features of outlet buildings around in the planningand architectural design. By the collection and collation of relevant data, this articlesummarizes the general theory that applied to the commercial building design andstrengthen practicality and maneuverability of the research by the discussion and studyof the design process of the actual project, combined the theoretical basis and practicalproject.This study seeks to provide strong design method of maneuverability andsystematic Outlet architectural theory. This theory basis will play a reference role asthe guiding ideology and add the channel to improve the construction quality of theoutlets which will offer help to the Outlet project design in the future.
