With the development of the city construction and the improvement of theconstruction level, pile has become one of the most widely used forms in our country. Alot of research has been made by many scholars at home and abroad, at present,Single-pile-load test is the most widespread and intuitive way to research on piles’ loadtransmission. It’s known as to bury the reinforcement meter into the pile to measure theaxial force from different parts of the pile, resistance from the side and tip of the pilecan also be measured, at the same time, curves can be drawn to reflect the regularpattern of the pile load.Background of the piles and its overview as long as the feature and the regularpattern are introduced in this paper foundation were introduced in this paper. Accordingto the single-pile-load test, axial forces from the side and the tip as long as variousdepths can be measured in the way which burying the reinforcement meter equably andcutting the piles into different sections. The top settlement of the pile under the loadeffect is measured and drawn as Q-S and S-lgt curves. Axial force from different depthsis measured, too. Distribution and its playing situation of the frictional resistance fromthe side and the tip of the pile is also measured. In this paper, the process and thegeneral pattern of the soil system under the effect of the vertical load is summarized, therelationship of the side and the tip resistance is also summarized. S-logQ is more usefulconcluded by introducing the way in dividing the side and the tip resistance and by theQ-S and the S-logQ curves with comparing to the applicability of the tangent and theS-logQ. Piles are pressed twice in the test, it has been proved that the effect which theside resistance is getting stronger dose exit in the way which comparing the Q-S curvesand the axial force curves from two tests with the side and tip friction curves. The resultcan be applied to the design and construction of the piles in Handan area.
