Abstract/Summary:
Pipe belt conveyor is a new style of belt conveyor,compare with the traditionalbelt conveyor, it has the advantage of space curve lay out,both-way transportationand sharp inclination transportation. So the pipe belt conveyor wins more and morefavor in the field of transports of bulk solids material.As a shaping and supporting part of the pipe belt conveyor, the truss is share1/3of the whole costs of the pipe belt conveyor,but the traditional method has been unableto adopt the current development trend of high quality, high speed and high efficiency.Based on finite element,Pipe belt conveyor truss structure was analyzed by ANSYSWorkbench.Then, the optimization function of ANSYS Workbench was applied toobtain the optimum structure of the truss structure. The main research as the followingaspect:The structure shape, cross section,beam support and node connection of the Pipebelt conveyor truss structure was introduced and compared.besides, the structuredesign of coking coal Pipe belt conveyor truss structure strength and stability wereintroduced consulting steel structure design manual.The characteristic of the Pip belt conveyor truss structure was introduced, and theforce and the load style and calculate method was analyzed in detail after summary themodern calculation home and abroad. Use the knowledge about structural mechanicsand mechanics of materials to derivative the force formula of every beam and calculatethe related force. From the result, we can find the beam that can be easily fractured,then checking method of strength、stiffness and stability.Establish the three-dimensional model of Pip belt conveyor truss structure, thenuse software of ANSYS Workbench analysis the force of truss structure, find theequivalent stress map and deformation map, then based on the result of equivalent anddeformation proofread the intension and rigidity. compare the results between thecalculation and finite element, across the comparation to ensure the reasonable of thecalculation.The parameters of two kinds of cross section configuration was defined asoptimization variables.the volume of the model was defined as objective function. Thenstructure optimization for these two types of truss beam was performed making use of the optimization function of ANSYS Workbench. finally, in order to prepare materialand manufacture conveniently, the optimization results were rounded numbers, takingthe height and weight of the truss as top-priority for truss structure beam, respectively.
