This article starts from architecture surface as the research pointcut, it introducesthe advantages of low-carbon architectures which based on skin material, it also statesthat the skin low-carbon design techniques for sport architecture surface, and how toimplement them. This article will use stadium as example, especially using the stadiumthat people held the Twelfth National Games as the crucial one. This report will analyzelow-carbon architecture surface treatment from qualitative and quantitative analysismethodologies, such as the concept of sport architecture surface, the characteristic oflow-carbon architecture, the low-carbon choice and low-carbon design method ofsports building ‘skin material. It also indicates that this article will have the modelsignificance about how to achieve low-carbon design for the sport architecture surfacein the future.Chapter one will state the research background, and summarize the researchquestions about high-energy of public architectures which need to be solved. In addition,it will base on the certain scope of research, and point out the research object and baseon it, it will propose distinctive methodology. Then, it will report research significanceand innovation.In chapter two, it will give the concept of sport building surface. It will discuss thehistorical and current situation of sport architecture from different aspects, it willconsider various factors including the sports construction epidermis and construction,expression, the urban environment, climate and so on.Finally, summarize the existingproblem of sport architecture surface.In chapter three, it will force on the Connotation, characteristics and developmentof low-carbon architectures. Using the low-carbon buildings as the background, it willexplain the detail of the substance and assessment standards of the low-carbonarchitectures, and outlines the current status and development trend of low-carbonarchitectures.Chapter4, it will introduce how to choice an appropriate low-carbon buildingmaterials which can be utilized in sport architectures surface. It includes that theoverview of low-carbon building materials, the characteristics and basic requirements ofsports building surface, the selection of low-carbon building materials in sports building surface.In Chapter5, it states that the low-carbon design method of sports architecturesurface. It also will analyze the effects of appropriate design method that in order toachieve the low-carbon of sport architectures. It will be demonstrated by focusing on therelationship between natural light and ventilation and low-carbon of sport architectures,and then propose the distinctive methodology for reducing energy consumptioneffectively.In Chapter6, it is integrated applications which are various factors of low-carbonof sport architectures that we introduce in above chapters. Using the stadium of theTwelfth National Games as research example, I select the three different gyms asinstances; they are Shenyang University, Shenyang Agricultural University and the CityFitness Center. It discusses the significance of energy-saving and reducing carbonemissions of sport architectures from the project overview, skin characteristics,low-carbon building materials selection and design techniques.In conclusion, through the analysis about the sport architecture surface such aslow-carbon architecture surface, low-carbon building materials, low-carbonarchitectures and the design method, this report explain the low-carbon design theoryand method of sport architecture surface. And then analyze the cases using qualitativeand quantitative analysis methodologies. At the meanwhile, it plans to bring the sportsarchitecture surface designed concept to the scope of energy-saving design, and addinglow-carbon energy in sports architecture surface.
