The DC-DC converter is a crucial device in the aerospace defense system. To verify its reliability, it is very important to select and test the converter. With the growth in the quantities and types of the test requirements of DC-DC converters, the original test system shows flaws including low test efficiency, few type of converter parameters testable and low test accuracy. To solve these problems encountered in practical applications and meet the new test requirements, a new test system was designed in this thesis which was suitable for batch test system and satisfied the test requirements. This design has great significance in engineering.The design of the test system in this thesis consists of three parts, hardware, software and fixtures. Hardware designed from a common source meter has the advantage of the versatility, flexibility and convenience which can be configured based on the requirements. Software is oriented by controlling the test process. The test methods are fixed in the software and the variable parameters set as variable. Each test project is one basic test unit, which contains one major parametric test and several other parametric tests. The advantage of this design is that one parameter can be tested by a variety of test methods in same test project. Test projects contain33test parameters which almost cover all the electrical performance parameters of DC-DC converter. The software design is versatile, efficient and flexible. The test fixture is an electrical device to connect DC-DC converter and the test system. It is a picture-jig considering both universal and specialized situation. Universal fixture is designed for general test and special fixture for batch test.After upgrading the hardware and redesigning the test projects and fixtures of the original system, the redesigned test system satisfied for both general and batch test requirements. The design is reasonable by verification. The results show that the redesigned system satisfies the practical requirements, improves the efficiency of the test and increases the test types.
