The universal test machine is the main equipment testing mechanical properties. Most ofthe WE test machines that are still using are controlled manually, with the low précising andreliability. In order to improve the testing level of old machines and meet the workrequirement and come to the international technology requirement, reconstruct is the best way.The reconstruct can realize testing automatically, reduce errors, save data automatically andimprove the test efficiency. The papers based on lots of information of test machines connect computer technologywith test technology, the capacity of computer is completely used, and WE-30 test has beenreconstructed in the mechanical lab. The computer automatic measure system of thehydraulic-universal material test machine is studied, and the computer,hardware and softwareare based on the system. The follows are the main works of the paper: 1.The paper introduces structure and hydraulic theory of the universal machine,combining the present situation the measure equipment of the test machine is reconstruct.analyzing sensors used in the test system. 2.The pressure sensor, 9-pin mouse and extensometers are used in the test system. Andthe structure, fixing location and what they measureare introduced particularly. 3.In the paper, the serial mouse of 9-pin was introduced to measure displacement in thetensile test. Work theory was explained, and mouse was reconstructed. Communicationrealizement and communication protocol format of serial mouse was focused to expound,Dynamic link database of mouse data package (afxm.dll) was separately designed, so thatdata t can be read and translated and measure can be completed. 4.The computer automatic measure system of the hydraulic-universal material testmachine is consisted of sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition card, computer andsoftware, etc. The system is studied in the paper. 5.Interpolation and Least Square method are presented to fit the test curve. 6.The paper use Visual Basic 6.0 to develop the automatic measure software system ofuniversal test machine. Visual Basic 6.0 has friendly interface and great function, it can visitmany database systems and conveniently mobilize Win32API and DLL, and bring advantagesthat application controls the equipment. The experiments prove that measure has the functionsof saving data ,querying data ,showing curve ,analyzing and processing data, outputting andprinting report. It is significance that the level ,speed and quality of metal material inspection is improved,the measure efficiency and measure precision of the test machine in the mechanics lab areimproved, and the content and condition of the teaching are improved more.
