This paper presents a design of the overall structure about control system of compression testing machine, driven by servo motor ball screw drive, to the spring structure for the system, spring loading and unloading on the lower part of the sealing gasket through pressure head. The system uses S7-200PLC as the control center to complete the positive inversion and the start and stop control of the motor, using the weighing sensor to detect the size of the loading force and the detecting result is used as the feedback signal, to measure the deformation of the gasket by grating ruler displacement sensor which has high accuracy, and the detection signal is sent into the PLC for computing and operating the compression and rebound number, so you can get the measure results. System can complete the whole operation process through computer man-machine interface, and the measure results can be saved or printed out.The system designed in this paper realized to measure two important parameters on engine cylinder gasket compression automatically or manually measured rate and resilience, high measuring precision, can meet the needs of production, will have wide application prospect.
