In the modern social and economic activities, elevator has become a sign of urban material civilization and with the rapid development of high-rise buildings; it has entered a new era. Now, with the popularity and high speed of elevators, elevator accidents are increasing, elevator is widely distributed in the major office buildings, residential buildings, shopping malls which are densely populated areas with frequent movement, once a security incident occurs, it involves a lot and has adverse effects. Improving the safety performance of the elevator by strengthening the elevator inspection and testing has a very important significance in maintaining life and property safety, construction and a stable and harmonious society.This paper embarks on the safety inspection programs required during the elevator inspection and testing and discusses the importance of the analysis and research of the permanent magnet synchronous traction motor, at the same time, it analyses and studies the elevator used in the traction motor, providing a safe and reliable theoretical credentials for the safe operation of the elevator.The principles of organization and inspection procedures of the elevator are introduced, the principles of organization are analyzed and studied, meanwhile the relevant elevator inspection process are introduced and the key factors of the elevator safety performances and vital functions of permanent magnet synchronous traction motor in the elevator inspection are analyzed, providing theoretical basis for the analysis of the permanent magnet synchronous motor.The factors that influence the main parameters including no-load electromotive force, the arrangement of the armature winding, synchronous reactance and electromagnetic torque are studied by theoretical analysis, the key factors that have influences on its size are analyzed and its basic algorithm is introduced and analyzed, furthermore, the effects of the parameters on the motor performances including various factor and efficiency and so on are studied to improve the performance indexes of the motor.The simulation and research of the permanent magnet synchronous motor to be analyzed in this paper are conducted by using the finite element analysis software, including electromagnetic torque, the armature winding induced voltage, winding current and various armature parameters and motor performance indexes, the relevant results and comparative analysis are given, providing references for the successful operation of the motor as the electrical power in the elevator and the safe and reliable operation.
