Research On The Landscape Design Of The Rose Specialized Garden

As one of China’s top ten flowers, Chinese rose was widely loved by people since its variety and bright color. The Chinese rose garden was praised as one of the most beautiful in the garden. How to build a Chinese rose garden with landscape features and health ecosystem is a topic which is worth to study deeply. The design principles of the Chinese rose garden and landscape type were systematically study in this paper, as well as the landscape construction techniques and specific plant landscape mode were proposed. The major results are as follows.Firstly, we have made a research on the six Chinese rose gardens in four southern cities of our country, and made an evaluation including the entrance design, roads and terrain, the organization partition, plant configuration and cultivation, landscape sketch and cultural expression evaluation. The design successes and shortcomings on the Chinese rose garden landscape were carefully analyzed, and the major problems are①the lack of change on topographic;②the indifferent landscape of plant diversification and obviously dying sense of winter views;③the plant landscape with a single level and poor eco-efficiency;④the short of horticulturists level;⑤the poor set on the tour road.Secondly, we have expounded the principle of the Chinese rose garden landscape design, is diversification principles, ecological principles, principles of artistic and cultural. After all, the landscape types and design elements were proposed, including flower border, flower beds, flower bed, flower beds, flower fence, vertical greening and potting mix for plants. We also propose suitable mode type for the Chinese rose garden plant landscape,flower border type, flower beds type, flower type, scaffolding type, tracery wall type, basing on the dissertation from five aspects, which are as follows:the transformation of the micro-topography design, road design, water design, landscape sketch, facilities design and plant cultivation design.Thirdly, we applied the plant landscape mode to the real cases in the pastoral landscape project of Hunan Four seasons as an example for the Chinese rose garden, by combining with the method of design elements and plant landscape mode. The special garden was divided into different functional partition. Finally, a characteristic landscape for Chinese rose garden was created successfully with high viewing price and stable healthy ecosystem. Hence, the feasibility of the theoretical study was fully proved for this article.Overall, the Chinese rose garden constructions in full swing puts forward higher and higher requirements to designers. In order to make up the poor condition of the landscape effects when Chinese rose dying in winter, not only is the improvement of the collection and domestication of the special garden varieties needed, the topography must be transformed appropriately to create a diversity of plant landscape.
