Traditional air-conditioning system has been used to control the temperature and humidity coupled, It not only can not guarantee the requirements of thermal comfort indoor modest, but also leads to the energy consumption of the system becomes larger., The temperature and humidity independent control system is proposed to solve this problem. But, currently more popular liquid and hygroscopic material desiccant type has the disadvantages of high cost, management and maintenance is not convenient,and occupies large area.In order to solve these problems, this thesis propose a new temperature and humidity independent control system which is using the dual evaporator chiller as the cold source. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1) By reading the literature to determine the feasibility of independent of temperature and humidity control systems With dual evaporator unit as a cold source.(2) Through methods of modeling and simulation to analyze and compare the performance of dual evaporator chiller with a conventional chiller in the cooling mode; Analyze the performance of dual evaporator chillers running in different conditions;Find out factors that influence the energy efficiency of the unit operation;This thesis determined the structure of dual evaporator chiller;secondly, calculated the load of an office building in Nanjing and designed the key components of unit. Finally established the mathematical model of refrigerant, air, heat exchanger, compressor and expansion valve. In addition, the system simulation is carried out by using software.The simulation results show that:the dual evaporator chiller not only can realize the independent control of temperature and humidity, but also can save energy for14.4%than conventional chiller;The COP of unit is reduced with the increased the rate of load under varying operating conditions; The cooling water flow rate(inlet temperature),chilled water flow rate (inlet temperature),building heat load and moisture load ratio are the factors which influence the performance of the unit;...
