The Study Of Safety Space Design In The Rim Area’s Environment Of The City

The rim area of the city is the most changeable and sensitive place throughout theevolution of city-urbanization process in every country. With development environmentbecomes more and more open after China entry into the world trade organization, the space ofthe city-rim surroundings faces unprecedented changes. This paper focuses on the spacedesign about the rim environment of the city and studies on the problem of the safety indesign with the integrated plans, environment space pattern and the theory of environmentalpsychology and behavioral science.The whole paper is composed of two parts of theory representation and real-case studyand contains6units. In the part of theory representation, the paper takes apart object of thestudy, analyzes domestic and abroad recently researches, elaborates relative theory about thestudy and establishes the theoretical principles of the whole study inclusive of environmentalpsychology and criminal psychology. The first part also analyzes the space of the city-rimsurroundings, elaborates safety problems about the space design of the city-rim surroundingsin according to the psychology and behavioral science and studies on the space safety designof the environment from two aspects of the environment space design elements and the spaceform of the city-rim surroundings direct against its safety problem, meanwhile, this papercarries on the study of the space design about the rim environment of the city from theenvironment space design and proposes that it should comply with a beneficial ecologicalcycle such as the integrate of the way of life, space-time and the environment, people orientedenvironment design theory, the strategy of sustainable development planning, the direction ofestablishing a harmony ecological social. The following part is about the example research. Inthis part, the paper takes the rim-area environment of ChenZhou for instance to elaborate thesignificance of the selecting and the definition of environment space, to analyze the currentsituation of the environment space and takes “green home” of the ChenZhou city for instance,trying to make a design for the environment space of the city-rim area according to the theoryand current situation.
