The design of Anhui style in modern commercial space have been widely used in many kind of areas. Not only be used in the architectural design and interior design,but also spread in the area of the graphic design,advertisement design, product design and landscape design. Inspiredly, the use of Anhui traditional symbolic elements has growing stronger.Anhui culture as a core of Anhui traditional symbolic elements, has the typical characteristic of territory.Anhui culture was growing from the local cultural and geographical environment, and developing the style more modality and function. After the mid-Ming period, with the trade rise, the official of huizhou intellectual businessman spread the production of Anhui culture to the nations. Gradually, Anhui culture had the chance to became known by large amount of people. Finally, Anhui culture was shown in the world recently.Anhui traditional symbolic elements is the important part of representation element and traditional culture in the modern and contemporary times in China, has been used widely in the modern commercial space. It had been the source of design inspirations, and had more popularity in the commercial interior space. Also, the work of Anhui traditional symbolic elements has appeared a lot. Designers tried to promote Anhui traditional symbolic elements to a new era of wider stage in the world.However, it has more issues in the use of Anhui traditional symbolic elements in the modern commercial space. Those problems affect the development of this style. Therefore, facing up to the issues and revising the drawbacks becomes the necessary action. Thirdly, I will summarize the feasible methods, application principles and application modes in the modern commercial space, and combine with a large number of practical work. The issues and the difficulties of using Anhui traditional symbolic elements will be discussed then. Accordingly, I will analyse the addressed methods. Combined with the interior design method and application of research, the use of Anhui elements is discussed in this paper, and in order to developing this kind of culture in a well-aligned and science way, the design process and the design thinking is added to guide the trend of Anhui traditional symbolic elements. A set of reasonable principles and the design method is summarised, which promotes the Anhui traditional symbolic elements to finding the suitable foothold, and enhace the demand of symbol era and history, play its value in the space design.
