Abstract/Summary:
As a kind of new energy, wind power was supported to governments around the world in recent years. Wind power technology development cannot leave the early period of laboratory research work. But due to the particularity of wind turbine and the randomness of wind, make that it is difficult to use the real wind turbine in the laboratory experiments, in such a premise, using the wind turbine simulation technology for wind power generation technology research has become a very good choice.The wind machine simulation technology as well as the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm are mainly studied in this article, the main work is as follows:First of all, build the wind power simulation platform in the laboratory. Platform use asynchronous motor as a prime mover for the simulation of wind turbines, the generator adopts full power asynchronous generator. Use Schneider ATV71vector control frequency converter to control the engine running. Use the ABB ACS800-11four quadrant converter to control the operation of the generator. Wind turbine was studied and the simulated for a suitable design of the experimental platform for wind turbine system.The involved inverter technology of experimental platform is studied, do the simulation of the grid-connected of the four quadrant converter.Software and hardware design scheme of simulation platform was introduced in detail.A small wind power generator is simulated using simulation platform. Using the accurate tracking of the torque and rotational speed characteristic of the small power wind turbine to implement the simulation process. And the HSC maximum wind energy capture experiment was carried out. The experimental result shows that the building of wind turbine simulation platform can realize simulation of wind machine and the MPPT process.On the basis of established the basic experimental platform, further study on the climbing search method is used to improve the efficiency of maximum power tracking. Common climbing method and improved method based on the mechanism of sleep and wake up was implemented respectively step by step in the experimental platform, and ideal results have been achieved, and the improved algorithm is superior to the ordinary algorithm.
