With the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, the number of private cars are more and more.due to the growing road network update.Pedestrians are not familiar with the road.Mmaking travel is extremely inconvenient, this case cities become more pronounced in chinese major cities. In order to allow pedestrians to find their destinations more quickly and make the trip to become more humane, intelligent. So there will be some intelligent transportation equipment-satellite navigation system. At present, more than95%satellite navigation systems are using the United States GPS on the market. It’s in the absolute monopoly. In order to break this monopoly, avoid the United States and other developed countries in economic or political disputes as a reason to block GPS signal. The research project is independently developed CNSS Beidou Navigation+GPS navigation instead of a single GPS navigation.The subject of the main processor is based on ARM chip as the core, and the use of the Oriental Star company developed OTrack-32module.It can receive the signal of the dual system (GPS and CNSS of Beidou navigation), and achieve system switch requires only1second hot start. The subject Transplanted the Linux operating system, designed the corresponding hardware circuit and related hardware driver, used the serial port to receive OTrack-32module. The entire system completed the data collection function, data processor, used QT graphical interface to design the navigation system.Compared with the single satellite signal receiving system.This research project "Double Star navigation system receiver" has the dual role of insurance.In some parts of Asia. The signal of Beidou satellite system is stronger than the GPS signal. For some important application, signal interruption may have serious consequences, while binary system can effectively avoid the occurrence of this situation and improve the stability of the whole system operation. This paper has realized a set of stable performance, low cost, and can quickly switch between two (GPS/CNSS) of different satellite signal "double star navigation system" the design of receiver, has good application prospect.
