With the development of computer technology, the application of informationtechnology is widely used in power plant. In addition, with the constantly reform ofelectric power industry, the management and operation of power grid have beenopening up to the market. In order to reflect the open, just and fair of power industryprinciple, the electricity information system plays a more important role than everbefore.The domestic electricity information system has been in stage of steady growthso far. However,due to the notable discrepancy between construction time andco-operation of respective manufacturers, traditional management mode of power cannot meet the need of the production and operation. Therefore, it is necessary to establisha system of electricity information management.In the first place, this thesis gives a introduction on the development history andcurrent research of electricity information management, and according to the need of thedomestic electrical market, with the aim of power production for the center, reliableoperation of power infrastructure as the prerequisite and economic efficiency as the coreof enterprise, proposed infrastructure model and overall design solution of electricityinformation management system based on.Net and B/S structure; establish aapplication platform of power data-electricity information management system,it canmonitor,calculate and process the data of the overall production and management inHongWei,also achieve the application of the automatically collecting,monitoring theelectrical information and electrical balance information; at the same time,on the basisof system capabilities of stability and reliability mining the data sufficiently for furtherapplication; illustrations of the communication protocols and modes of all kinds ofterminals; System of modularization degree is higher, also with the third party interfaces,it is easy to the exchange the information between facilitate and the third party software,so as to realize the modernization of scientific, economic and efficient management, onthe one hand, it can improve the economic benefit of enterprise, on the other hand, itcan meet the requirement of the rapid development in electric power market.Now,the system has been put into operation. As been proved, the system canrealize the electricity need to power measuring point of energy dataautomatic,accurate,timely collect.This system with a powerful data processing capacity,mainly in diagrams show generating capacity,power supply.Internetbattery and factory of power consumption of the balance. It effectively guide theoptimal operation of the power plant and make electricity information managementsystem really an expert assistant of HongWei power plant’s operation and management,then really achieve the aim for energy saving,optimal operation, reduction of productioncosts and improvement of the benefit.
