The Research On Optimizing Of The Assembly Process Design In X Plant

The optimizing of the assembly process design in X plant is discussed in thispaper. First, the traditional designing contents and ways are introduced. Then, on thisbasis, a new process, including the assembly working hour analysis, the productionline balancing, and the fixed number of workers calculating in workshop, is analyzedin detail. Through this way, a final assembly process is determined, which canstrongly support the layout of the logistics, the design of the production line and theworkshop. Finally, the area and the cost of the workshop can be obtained. Contrastingthe results with other plants’ in the same industry, a conclusion can be made. That theoptimizing of the assembly process design can benefit X plant by decreasing theconstruction cost and the long-term running cost.
