Fault Detection Expert System Research On The Ground Source Heat Pump Hot Water System Based On FTA

In recent years, the ground source heat pump hot water system is widely used inour country to meet the rising requirements for living hot water. However, theequipment in the heat pump hot water system will inevitably exist a lot of faultsespecially when it runs several years.At present, troubleshooting and maintenance ofthe system mainly rely on the experience and some related instruments of the manualwork. The fault detection is constrained by the experience of the site personnel.Therefore, a comprehensive fault detection system for ground source heat pump hotwater system is of great significance for the fast and efficient intelligent detection.The fault detection methods based on the fault tree analysis (FTA) for groundsource heat pump hot water system is proposed in this paper,which is combined withthe fault tree detection technology and expert system. This paper puts forward amethod to establish the knowledge base of expert system which integrates theinformation included in the fault tree into the expert system. The production methodand the framework method are used to describe the information contained in the faulttree. Moreover, this paper elaborates a way to establish the inference machine of theexpert system based on fault tree.Two types of common faults in the ground source heat pump hot water system“low hot water temperature” and “low water flow rate” are taken as the analysisobjects in this paper. Based on comprehensive theoretical analysis and experts’practical experience, this paper build the fault tree models of the two types and extracta set of test parameters which are suitable for the fault detection of the ground sourceheat pump hot water system. According to simplify the fault tree models, construct thedetection knowledge modules of the expert system, build the framework of theknowledge search process and complete the design of the interface, this paper finallyestablish the fault detection expert system of the ground source heat pump hot watersystem based on FTA.
