With the advancement ofChina’s society and science, the infrastructure has been developed rapidly. Traditional concrete damage mainly study the whole component or select a non-local parameter, which undoubtedly cause many problems in damage detection. From the view of the energy conversion, injury and damping all have the characteristics of energy dissipation, so there must be some intrinsic association between them. We will explore and reveal the evolution of injury and damping, which undoubtedly has great scientific value to the in-depth study of the material nature. Using the progressively momentum loading tests on concrete block to simulate the different degree injury of the actual structure; Taking the advantage of the characteristics for damper that it can make the stress-strain hysteresis to get a conclusion about the change of damper with the changing of stress and strain. On the basis of existing research results, using the Weibull model to propose damage identification based on damper characteristics. Through the testing of the dynamic elastic modulus by ultrasonic wave to find a deterministic damage model related to the dynamic elastic modulus and introduced the damping ratio to establish a relationship of deterministic damage model and the damper. The main research work and achievements are as follows:1. Through the material dynamic test methods, using phase difference strain-stress can obtain the concrete with strain(stress) expression changes of damping parameters.2. Introducing the Weibull model and using strain as medium, we reveal the relationship of the concrete material damage and strain and give a clear expression;3.Based on the relationship between damping and strain and local damage and strain, using strain as medium, get the relations between damage and damping, and gives the corresponding formula; and comparing them with the relevant literature, demonstrate the feasibility of the local damage model of this paper.
