Self-compacting concrete has attracted a wide spread attention for its excellent construction performance, it has been widely used in new high-speed railway, industrial and civil buildings and structural strengthening engineering in recent years. Therefore, enhancing the study of the dynamic mechanical properties and their influence factors of Self-compacting concrete has important practical significance to further ensure the service performance of certain engineering structure and to guide the design of Self-compacting concrete structure. This paper is based on related research status at home and abroad, a series of experiment was designed to study the effect of the composition parameters and static loads on the dynamic mechanical properties such as frequency, dynamic elastic modulus, dynamic shear modulus, damping ratio and Poisson’s ratio, the relationship between dynamic mechanical properties and porosity of Self-compacting concrete was also explored. The results show that mineral admixtures have a great impact on the frequency, dynamic elastic modulus, dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio and other parameters of Self-compacting concrete, the mix of fly ash and stone powder or fly ash and silica fume decreased the frequency, dynamic elastic and shear modulus of Self-compacting concrete compared with the addition of fly ash only; the adding of silica fume significantly increased the damping ratio of Self-compacting concrete; the reduction of water-cement ratio increased the frequency, dynamic elastic and shear modulus of Self-compacting concrete, whereas, the damping ratio was decreased; when the static load level is lower than50percent of the ultimate stress, the dynamic elastic and shear modulus and damping ratio of Self-compacting concrete barely changed, when the stress level reaches65%of the ultimate stress, the dynamic elastic modulus and shear modulus was reduced by about5percent, the damping ratio increased by10percent. Dynamic mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete and its porosity parameters have good correlation.
