Nowadays, the concept about Green,Economic,Energy Conservation and Low-Carbon has been strongly initiated in the social area. The task about the air condition is not only ensuring that the system can meet the the temperature and the humidity condition in room,but also develop to create the better and more energy saving environment.The fundamental principle about the evaporative cooling technique is using that the heat will be absorbed,so that the environmental temperature should decreased,when the water is evaporating.Comparing with the mechanical refrigeration technique,there is several advantage about the evaporative cooling technique just like economic, energy conservation and environmental protection when it compound with other high technology.In these years, there is lots of waste heat released in many producing department where just like air-cooled inverter room which placed inverter boxes, dry type transformers and many frequency changers.These kinds of equipments can send out lots of sensible heat in running.In this paper, the application about the evaporative cooling technique in huge sensible heat place which just like air-cooling and frequency conversion room has been further studied basic on the researches which has been studied by precursors.When the direct evaporative cooling system can not satisfy the requires in room because of the impose restrictions on machine size, the indirect-direct evaporative cooling system, multistage evaporative cooling system or the evaporative cooling combining with the mechanical refrigeration system should be used. In this paper, the effect and the characteristics about the indirect-direct evaporative cooling system which using in the air-cooling and frequency conversion room has been studied. The energy saving effect has been quantification.The evaporative cooling technique has been promotion on the basic the characteristics and the advantage has been described visually.Firstly, the several building energy analysis tools in common have been analyzed.According to the characteristics about the common software and the research content,the EnergyPlus has been choose to be the research platform about the building energy analysis. The mathematical model about the equipment in the aeration cooling system has been described by the EnergyPlus which do the groundwork of the analysis about the characteristics between the indirect-direct evaporative cooling system and the mechanical refrigeration system.Secondly,Harbin where is suit for indirect-direct evaporative cooling system has been choose to study.According to the characteristics and conditions about the temperature and humidity in large sensible heat space which like electric substation, the design about the indirect-direct evaporative cooling system and the mechanical refrigeration system has been put. Refer to this kind of aeration cooling system running mode in common, the start-stop control has been used in the whole system when the temperature and humidity under the maximum limit in room.The result which calculate by EnergyPlus shows that the systems both can meet the the temperature and humidity conditions in a year.78322.2kWh was consumed by indirect-direct evaporative cooling system and190874.5kWh was consumed by mechanical refrigeration system.41%energy can be saved by indirect-direct evaporative cooling system.It is shows that there will a lot of energy can be save if the indirect-direct evaporative cooling system instead of the mechanical refrigeration system in using in the large sensible heat rooms.The last but not the least,operation program about the indirect-direct evaporative cooling system which has more significance in energy conservation has been optimized.The outside meteorological condition in Harbin has been determined by Bin Method and the design has been studied.The study shows that the indirect and the direct evaporative cooling units should both working when the outside temperature is over29℃;the indirect evaporative cooling units should running when the outside temperature between23℃and29℃; the indirect and the direct evaporative cooling units must be stopped when the outside temperature is below23℃,at this moment the system is in the ventilation mode.Because the outlet temperature will change when the outside temperature is changing, the air volume should be changed to meet the temperature and the humidity condition in room by principle of frequency conversion.According to the optimizing and simulating the design about the indirect-direct evaporative cooling system, it is calculated that72382.7kWh can be saved in a year by EnergyPlus.It is means that7.58%energy consumption cannot be wasted any more.The variable air volume(VAV) control mode has been used in indirect-direct evaporative cooling system.That cause more initial cost.It is suggested that the initial cost and the working cost should be considered together,the investment recovery period should be analyzed and the better suitable design should be choose.
