In the background of global climate change, China established many law and regulations, to promote energy-saving emission reduction and the development of low carbon economy. In the HVAC industry development process, are also subject to two major problems of resources and environment restrictions. The energy-saving air-conditioning system is particularly important, new energy saving technologies will be more and more applied. Evaporative cooling technology as a new energy-saving technology, with its energy-saving, efficient and environmental protection features, has been a growing number of research and application. At present, China has a large number of industrial plants, and some plants produce large amounts of sensible heat, latent heat generated can be ignored. If the industrial exhaust heat generated by industrial plants can not be ruled out smoothly, it will affect the normal use of the device, because the indoor dry-bulb temperature is too high, the production process is not performed correctly. Use of evaporative cooling ventilation cooling systems, can effectively eliminate a large number of sensible heats produced in industrial plants. In the elimination of industrial exhaust heat, evaporative cooling technology than the traditional mechanical refrigeration technology is more energy saving. This article as a starting point, the EnergyPlus energy consumption analysis software, based on EnergyPlus applied to eliminate sensible heat of hot industries worked directly evaporative cooling ventilation cooling system of the annual energy consumption calculation method. And the simulate energy consumption for one year of direct evaporative cooling system and mechanical refrigeration system has been analyzed.This article first introduced several common building energy analysis software and their characteristics and performance are compared, chooses the Energyplus energy analysis software as the object platform of study of energy consumption simulation. And the Energyplus energy analysis software is applied to the applicability of evaporative cooling technology is studied. The results show that, Energyplus energy analysis software can fully meet the requirement of the subject of direct evaporative cooling ventilation cooling system and mechanical refrigeration ventilation cooling system the annual energy consumption simulation. Then this paper takes air-cooled power distribution room and direct evaporative cooling ventilation cooling of Urumqi as the research object. According to the air-cooled power distribution room enclosure structure the actual situation and the direct evaporative cooling ventilation cooling system equipment performance parameters, using EnergyPlus simulation platform, established the air distribution chamber and direct evaporative cooling ventilation cooling system simulation model.The Second the data about the evaporative cooling system for ventilation cooling and the switch board room which cooled by air in Urumqi, has been measured.The simulate result which simulate by Energy-plus for the evaporative cooling system and the switch board room has been contrasted with the measure data. By the analysis we know that the simulate result has accord with the measure data, the D-value between them is very small, the average of EER is in the range in allowable. The result shows that the model is close to the real.Further more,, for the switch board room, a mechanical refrigeration system has been designed at the same working condition. The mechanical refrigeration system has been simulated by the Energy-plus.The last but not the least, the simulate energy consumption for one year of mechanical refrigeration system and evaporative cooling system has been analyzed. The power consumption for one year of the direct evaporative cooling system is32556.36kWh.The power consumption for one year of the mechanical refrigeration system is168615.26kWh.The mechanical refrigeration system power consumption is more than the direct evaporative cooling system’s about136058.64kWh. The former power consumption is5.18times about the latter. At the refrigeration working condition of summer or transition season, the EERdec of evaporative cooling system is3.28,the power consumption radio of mechanical refrigeration system ε is1.47.By contrast, the evaporative cooling system power consumption is less,the EER is higher, the system is more energy conservation, efficient and environmental protection than the mechanical refrigeration system.
