Dump truck is a complex elastic system, mainly consisting of container, frame, chassis, hydraulic components, etc. The working condition of it is bad. Container, as akey component of the dump truck, will be under the impact and complex load and meetsstructural strength damage problem in lifting and road roughness excitation workingconditions. Therefore, the research on the static and dynamic structural strength analysisand test study of dump truck especially container has great practical values andindustrial significance. The main contents of this thesis are shown as follows:①Taking a lightweight dump truck with a new type container which made ofstamping steel sheets as the research object. The structure characteristics, transmissionprinciple and Loading conditions are analysed.3D model is established, and virtualassembly and interference checking are done.②A finite element static analysis model of dump truck is established whichconsists of the coupled system of container, vice frame, frame and suspension. Stressand displacement distribution analysis is conducted for the static full load and theunloading working condition.③A rigid and flexible of coupled multi-body dynamics model of dump truck isestablished which consists of the tyres, leaf spring, damper, axle, frame, container andcargo. The dynamic load and dynamic stress of dangerous location in road roughnessexcitation and barrier block excitation working condition is analysed, and the fatigue lifeof the container is analysed.④The testing system of structure strength on dump truck is built. The dynamicstress of the key location under various working conditions is tested and analysed, andthe validity of the simulation model is validated.
