ITER is of great important for the mankind to achieve the peaceful use of fusionenergy, which is constructed jointly by China, the United States, Russia, the EuropeanUnion, Japan, India and South Korea seven countries. The ITER PF converter module isthe most important subsystem of power supply system for ITER tokamak device.AC&DC busbar is the key component of the converter module, its stable operation is theguarantee of the normal operation of the converter system. The AC&DC busbar has beenanalyzed and designed in this paper.In the process of the AC busbar analysis and design,the cross-section of the ACbusbar has been optimized and bare busbar without shielding has been simulated indifferent busbar phase sequence, different hole size and different wall structure types byusing FEM software ANSYS. The simulated result of bare busbar indicated that theshielding is necessary for the AC busbar to decrease the temperature rise of componentbesides the AC busbar. Secondly from the contrast of simulation result of isolatedenclosure busbar and common enclosure busbar, the isolated enclosure busbar have moreadvantages than another type. Lastly, the structure of water cooling,air cooling andnatural cooling3cooling kinds of AC busbar and the AC busbar in cophase anti parallelconnection type have been designed by the conservation of energy for AC busbar. Theanalysis result of4types prove that the Water cooling with circle shielding has moreadvantages than other3types which is the best solution for AC Busbar.This paper also analyzes different cross-section and different thermodynamicproperties under the natural-cooling and water-cooling conditions, and it is simulated bythe software of finite element method(FEM), the result of analysis is shown that thewater-cooling method is the better choice for the DC busbar. In addition, theinterconnection of the DC busbar in water cooling was designed for its installation and their thermal and structure properties have been get by software ANSYS. Lastly, the maxequivalent stress and the electromagnetic force of DC busbar in short current has alsobeen got for installation. |
