The coupler steel tube falsework has been widely used in practice because of its simplestructure and easy way to build and other advantages. However, in recent years, accidentsrelated to this system occur frequently and the rate of serious major ones has rose, whichresults in significant loss of lives and property. It is founded through the survey that theinstability of the trestle is a main cause of such accidents. Therefore, a pressing problemcomes to how to improve the stability. Here our group gets some useful conclusions based onthe research output of the supporting system of fastener template made by steel pipe. We havetaken a realistic simulation of the trestles’ force performance via ANSYS10.0(a kind ofsoftware for finite element analysis) and compare the result with others’. Our concreteprocedures are as following.1.We have summarized and analyzed the failure of the template trestles, discovering thecauses and existing problems that lead to the instability of the trestles. We have also summedup the actuality of studies associated with template trestle on the basis of which we determineour focal point as--setting parameters’ effect on the stability of trestles.2.We made an introduction of the constituents of the template trestles and described partof them in details.3.We explained the reason why we chose ANSYS. Using semi-rigid connection nodespring element simulation of bending moment-rotation relationship, we established a finiteelement model with template trestle space pole system and at the same time thinked over thepossible problems of material nonlinearity and geometric nonlinearity according to the gainedsemi-rigid fastening node model. Adopting numerical simulation technology, we calculatedand analyzed the extent of influence on the force performance of template trestle byerecting parametes such as sweeping bar the length of the top horizontal bar extendingfrom top(value of a)、longitudinal and lateral distances、the falsework bracket puts up width.4.We summarized the results of finite element analysis, made a systemic analysis on thevarious parameters, compared our outcomes with others, verified the correctness of thefindings in this document and put forward some relevant suggestions about amendments of the specifications.
