There are materials and construction quality differences of each pavement structurallayers in pavement engineering, then the interlayers are not completely continuous in ideal,especially the interlayers between surface and base course is the weakest bond in pavementstructures. It has important practical significance to improve service level and service life ofthe highway to strengthen research on interlayers treatment technologies,improve the bondbetween base course and surface,and ensure the bearing capacity and fatigue resistanceperformance of asphalt pavement effectively.This article systematically analyzed research on bond strength and durability between thesurface and base of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement. On the basis of the survey of researchstatus and treatment technique for the application between surface and base in Hebeiprovince,it is studied deeply that the mechanical response between the road surface and basein a variety of condions、climate partition based on the road working condition classification、the design and construction standards between the surface and base、the interlaminar shearfatigue properties based on laboratory test、the influence of bonding state between layers onthe pavement overall life.The main contents are:(1) Through a detailed investigation andanalysis of the existing research in bond strength and durability between the road layers, cometo the inadequacies. Investigated interlayer treatment technique of highways in Hebeiprovince,point out the importance and practical significance of the thesis.(2)Based on theexpressway investigation,finiting element calculation model to analyse the mechanicalresponse of the different conditions、make significance analysis and the working conditionssingle factorgrading and comprehensive status classification.Under the new climatepartition,it is proposed that Hebei province climate partition on the basis of interlayerworking condition grading.(3)Through entity project and a lot of laboratory and filed test,analyse a variety of performance of prime coat and seal coat to determine the application ofmaterials、design standard、construction controlstandards and testing evaluation method of thesemi-rigid asphalt pavement for the technical support in road specification revisionorformulation.(4)Through a lot of indoor interlayer shear fatigue performance test,analysethree kind of interlayer treatment technologies of decay law between layers, on the basis of the results, fitting the shear fatigue equation for use to estimate the fatigue life betweensueface and base.(5)Based the Goodman model,using BISAR road software system study theeffect of different bonding state between layers to the flexural stress in the end of the asphaltpavement layer and surface deflection and to the overall life of the pavement, finally proposea computing method of estimating the service life of asphalt pavement in the actual roadbetween layers.
