Under the modern traffic, there are a large number of early diseases caused by improper treatment of interlayer, which explain that there are many issues existing in the materials design and construction technology aspects of asphalt pavement. The paper is about study on technology of interlayer treatment for perpetual asphalt pavement, adopting methods of combination of mechanical calculations and theoretical analysis, room simulation tests, paving trial road and on-site tests, and explores technology of interlayer treatment for PAP that is suitable for the national conditions of China, traffic conditions, material supply and the level of construction, which is great significance to research and extension of PAP.On the basis of sufficient references of research results at home and abroad, the subject depends on entity project, sets up three dimensional space model, and adopts BISAR theoretical design procedure to calculate and analyze the effect of maximal shear stress by parameter of road structure interlayer, mode of load action and contact condition between layers, exploring the place of the maximal shear stress on road surface and effects rule of parameters to the interlayer maximal shear stress. The subject dose shear test to interlayer materials using the developed"multiple functions tier material shears instrument", and then objectively valuates on the road performance of interlayer materials, and analyzes the shear destroying process from the view of material damage mechanism using the material mechanical knowledge at the same time. Through many experiments and various methods, it is demonstrated that the prime coat asphalt can't achieve a good penetration result in the semi-rigid base. The subject carries out a detailed study on the main factors that effect road performances of interlayer materials which includes materials type, dosage, temperature, load, construction technology and so on, and firstly advances the base surface harshness, the resistance to water, the anti-sliding and the shear strength against the study of seal coat. On the base of entity engineering, advance three key technologies of interlayer treatment for PAP that combines with the domestic machinery and level of construction at present, and recommend the best type and dosage of materials for design, construction reference to PAP.
