The development of future war pays more and more attention to air raid. Themeans of using aircrafts and cruise missiles to attack ground-targets away fromactual theater of operations has been widely used in the several local wars in recentyears. To attack air targets effectively, the research and development ofhigh-performance aerial defense weapon system is necessary. The key to develop aweapon system is research on the effectiveness assessment, and the study of thesystem’s attack ability is the most important part. This thesis focuses on the attackability of aerial defense weapon system. Research from the mechanism to do theattack ability simulation based on the target vulnerability models and the interiorand exterior ballistics simulation. Main content includes the following aspects:(1) Studied and analyzed the basic theories of the weapon system’s attackability. Ascertain the essential meaning of attack ability and the importance ofattack ability research in weapon system development, streamline needs to be donein this paper the key work content;(2)Analyzed the vulnerability of targets, and established vulnerability modelsof different targets. Combining simple orthogonal model and accurate ball-cascademodel, and elaborated the calculating method of the corresponding projectivecircular area to the vulnerability model. Finally got the vulnerability model s relatedto3kinds of targets (cruise missiles, fixed-wing aircraft and rotary-wing aircraft);(3) Analysis the interior and exterior ballistics mathematical model deeply andbuild their simulation models in MATLAB. To get the initial parameters at themoment when projectiles left the muzzle and analyze the influence of interiorballistics design to the initial state, and get the movement of projectiles flying freelyin the air;(4) On the basis of ballistic simulation, solved the problem of weapon systemshooting air moving target, and assessed the firing accuracy. Combining the analysisof firing error factors, introduced uniform design method which is commonly usedin the assessment of missile accuracy, and compared and analysis the results withMonte Carlo method. Then through simulation to calculate the weapon system’s killprobability according to different targets of different tracks.(5) On the basis of the previous research, build the corresponding weaponsystem software platform on LabWindows/CVI. Design and realize the targetvulnerability modeling, interior and exterior ballistics simulation, firing accuracy assessment and kill probability calculation etc modules.
