This article is mainly based on the harmonic detection theory and method, we propose ahigh-precision, real-time harmonic detection device design. This paper first discusses theconcepts and principles related to harmonics, in-depth analysis of several harmonic currentdetection methods abroad and their respective advantages and disadvantages, according tocurrent practice, after application of the requirements and the associated measurementstandard, proposed the use of FFT algorithm and FPGA-based designs, and finally theprogram implementation.Focus on the content of the article are the following: First, in order to reduce aliasingusing a FIR filter; Second on the grid in order to achieve signal tracking, eliminate spectralleakage, using a frequency-based tracking method to detect zero over the same time, byincrease the sampling rate to reduce the barrier effect; Third, the hardware uses a customvoltage sensor conditioning circuits and high-speed AD converter chip on the grid signalsampling and conversion; Fourth, the algorithm uses the base-4FFT1024points in the FPGAplatform up to achieve the harmonic analysis of the signal. Finally, use the Xilinx Spartan-6series development platform, using ISE software, simulation, and integration work, simulation results show that the system meets the basicrequirements, better able to perform harmonic detection grid.
