In view of the current situation of power quality to improve, the paper has designed a new type of power quality monitoring devices, using the FPGA as core technology, for the high-speed collection of the power grid signal and the AD conversion, and using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) for harmonic analysis and detect it's components and content. On this basis we can research the real-time suppress of power grid harmonics. The main contents of this paper are to execute AD conversion and harmonic analysis on the collected power grid signal, while displayed the results on LCD screen. The device using the Fusion AFS600PQ208 mixed chip module which was produced by Actel to execute the AD conversion on the incoming signals, and detect the harmonic in the chip using FFT theory, then send the results of AD conversion and FFT analysis into the ARM system time-sharingly, drive the 3.2-inch TFT color LCD screen by ARM system, display the monitoring data and signal waveform, and design the LCD interface. Finally, analyze the output results of AD conversion unit, harmonic analysis unit and clock control unit by logic analyzer module, and observe the detect results of installation through the LCD interface. The device's outstanding features are:using FPGA technology to realize AD conversion and harmonic analysis quickly, able to detect as most as 64 times harmonics' composition and contention in the power; AD conversion and FFT operations are running in mixed FPGA chip, processing data quickly, basis for the harmonics'real-time suppression; effectively combine the FPGA system and ARM system, using their advantages fully; friendly interface with LCD display, using touch screen and button to control the contention to display flexibly. |
