With the rapid development of high-rise building,a new set of challenges has beenpresented to the building construction. And external wall decoration of the high-rise building islabour-intensive and high-risk. The traditional construction method with scaffold and operationplatform is limited by poor safety, low efficiency, high accident rate. Development of a newworking platform for the external wall decoration and quality test of the high-rise building, hasimportant social significance and practical value. According to the key technology of theplatform system, the main contents are as follows:The paper summarizes the domestic and foreign research status on the aerial workingmachinery. On the basis of summarize in the structure form, size range&specification,application situation and installation method of curtain wall, the installation process is discussed,and the process flow of the mechanical assisted installation strategy is also been made.According to the characteristics of the curtain wall installation, the working assignment andtechnical points of the platform system are summarized.Based on systematic design theory and modular design method, function-decompositiontree of the platform system is established by analyzing the system function. Furthermore, systemscheme and modular configuration are confirmed according to the functional solutions. Theplatform system is mainly composed of suspended platform, hoist subsystem, support structure,automatic feeding subsystem, vibration suppression subsystem and control system.On account of stability and reliability, the cause of vibration is analyzed. Consideringvibration control methods and working characteristics of platform system, the dampingmechanism is presented with the application of passive vibration control method. According tothe distributed parameter model of wire rope and Hamilton principle, mathematical vibrationmodel of platform system is built. Dynamic properties of the platform system are analyzed bythe software platform of ANSYS, and the results of modal analysis and transient dynamicanalysis are obtained.Finally, the three-dimensional model of the platform system is established by using Pro/E software; then the finite element model of platform system is created in ANSYS. Furthermore,strength and rigidity of the suspended platform and support structure are checked to ensure thestable operation of the platform system. Result of the analysis could provide a theoreticalreference for furthermore optimization.
