With the speeding up of city social economy development now, urbanization increases,the auto industry that grows more rapidly than in previous years, as the consumer market ofurban motor vehicle ownership growth spurt, dynamic and static traffic for city has broughtunprecedented pressure and continue for a long time. On the one hand, increased traffic, urbandynamic traffic adds pressure to the city’s roads system. On the other hand, static trafficfacilities supply can’t keep up with demand growth. But as the bearing capacity of old citytraffic and city new city is very different, on the coping strategies should embodycharacteristics of differentiation.Xi ’an old city due to its historical reasons, the urban population density and buildingdensity is high, static traffic planning cannot transcend policy late layout, the car hasdeveloped rapidly in advance), cause at the present stage city faced with static traffic facilities,distribution imbalance between supply and demand. To alleviate the static traffic problems ofold town of xi ’an, dynamic traffic pressure relief, improving the efficiency of the city andurban sustainable development, study of static traffic problems and proposes the solutionstrategy is imperative.This article sets out the strategy of the xi "an old city static traffic problems easingoptions (increase the supply of parking facilities, promote the development of parkingindustry, transfer of parking demand, parking facilities, road outside, resource sharing,regional function organization inside road parking planning, etc.), summarized suitable for xi’an old strategy choice of sustainable development, dialectically analyzing the cause of statictraffic problems, put forward the way to solve the problem, so as to apply to old city statictraffic problems, and hope that predictive static traffic problems of planning for the future.
