Ecological composite wall which the task group have developed is a newfabricated structure system of eco-friendly, economical and safe. It is a product of newsituation of the wall material reform in China. The task group has went on a depth andmeticulous research on the ecological composite wall and it is widely used in practicalengineering. With the development of society and migration to urban centralized,multi-storey buildings can no longer meet the housing needs of the modern city so thatecological composite wall structure is necessary to develop a high-level. So the taskgroup propose middle-high ecological composite wall mixed structure system. Thispaper discuss the middle-high ecological composite wall mixed structure calculationmethod and seismic design method based on the test of wall experimentation ofmiddle-high ecological composite wall mixed structure. The main contents are asfollows:(1)This paper analyze the mechanical characteristics of middle-high ecologicalcomposite wall mixed structure and provide cooperative work principal of the structure.This paper gives two calculation diagram of composite structure: rigid system, hingesystem. Shear stiffness of wall and bending stiffness of the vertical constraint link aredetermined, basic differential equations of mixed structure is established in thehorizontal load and solve the lateral displacement formula of the structure, shearconstraints formula of the ecological composite wall, bending and shear formula ofvertical component member. Then it goes on the numerical analysis of the structure withthe help of the frame-elastic composite panel by means of SAP2000. Then it has acontrast between the numerical results and the calculation results to verify the proposed calculation method is reasonable.(2)This paper has a research on the reasonable quantity of vertical constraintcomponent in the lateral load. This paper deduce the formula of vertical constraintcomponent based on the story drift angle limitation. It gives theφ wvalues of differentaseismic grade, different fortification intensity and different design characteristic. Itgives the quantity of vertical constraint component of the structure. By the analysis of apractical engineering, contrast three different engineering cases and through that casesobtain a conclusion that different structure layout result in different mechanicalcharacteristics. This paper provides a reasonable layout about the vertical constraintcomponent.(3) Combined with the test of Middle-High Ecological Composite Wall MixedStructure, numerical analysis and practical experience, this paper provides the seismicstructural design of the structure and gives the insulation design of the structure.
