“All things have their supersession, days shape history and today. Land reservedplaces of historic interest, now we can view, climb and put our heart into it again.”We recovered the historical spatial pattern and reshaping the landscape spacetopographical advantages in order to pick up the spirit of the space which most historicaland cultural connotation in city to provide tangible historic homes for future generations;History spatial pattern will be renewed modern urban construction and today’s city will befilled with the taste of history. As a result, the city’s historical and cultural gene will bepermanent heritage and development. The mode of "mountain-palace-city" with landscape cultural heritage and historic hasits particularity in Huaqing Palace with thousands of years. We’ve see the traditionallandscape spatial pattern of history mostly is relatively single, the types and correspondingcomparison scattered the lack of a systematic. However, Huaqing palace of Tang Dynastybuilt in accordance with the mountain and Zhaoying county town should be formed aspecial space structure, has the very strong representativeness. At the same time thetraditional Chinese landscape spatial pattern is the main carrier of Chinese traditionalculture.“Mountain-palace-city" historical space is an epitome oftang culture. Whether thelandscape culture, royal garden culture or city life culture are all have reaction on this.Firstly, this thesis attempts to comb and summarize the landscape spatial patternformation process of the Huaqing palace’s "mountain-palace-city" and also to analyze theparticularity of the natural and human environment. On this basis, develop the research of Huaqing Palace landscape and topographical advantages, by analyzing the relationships ofHuaqing Palace special pattern construction and topographical advantages, summarizesthe landscape planning and design methods on the basis of topographical advantages.Huaqing Palace was built on the foot of Li Mountain. From south to north in sequence isLi Mountain Forbidden garden, Huaqing Palace, Zhaoying county town. Huaqing Palaceis guarded by palace inner wall, enclosure, and palace wall. The entire distribution isbased on natural topographical advantages. Rely on mountain facing water, front is lowerthan the rear, in a terrain of strategic importance, and taking stretch."Mountain-palace-city" historical landscape pattern together with natural mountains andwaters landscape integrate historical culture and geographical structure. Contribute toLintong “Modern-history-nature” main axis’s formation. The theory of landscape putsforward that people live in and rely on special natural geographical environment in thelong-term interactive practice, which created and formed the landscape sites that arecoincidence with the spirit in the landscape concept, which is also called to be spacepattern or space framework that is the corresponding relationship of land and landscape.Secondly, the thesis by summarizing and analyzing the concept of topographicaladvantages puts forward some methods of landscape and planning distribution, which isbased on historical landscape:Site investigation method, borrowing method, dressingmethod, leaning method. Huaqing Palace of Tang dynasty owns the unique landscapespace distribution, not only take advantage of landscape space, but also using naturalmountain and water garden forming methods. Natural landscape spatial pattern theory isthe planning theory system that combining natural landscape space, take advantage ofnature, and remarking the nature. Natural mountain and water landscape architecture isusing nature’s mountain and water space to build a harmonious landscape, and mainlyresearch on traditional layout and building as well as its planning theory. Finally, contribute meager strength to historical landscape protection by analyzingthe practicing case of Huaqing Palace landscape distribution protection. As cities’construction pace become faster and faster, historical heritage faces different problems, for example, some places are over-developed, which lead to many treasures historicalrelics lose its original appearance. There are some people even view historic environmentprotection as the burden of economic development, so that they can not put their heart and soul into historical relics protection, or even to put historic relics protection into localplanning and construction. Therefore, by showing the landscape space distributionprotection of Huaqing Palace, and making a relatively detailed analysis and discussion, will benefit to our further relics protection, raise questions for nowadays planning, andpay meager force for solving these problems. On the basis of cognizing historical HuaqingPalace pattern, from a objective point of view, cognize today’s Huaqing Palace pattern.“To explore the nature of the universe, knowing the past and the future changes”, fullyrespect history and nowadays pattern’s objective law of space form, fully understandingthe history of the city’s culture and the value of the space’s feature,“Put past as areference, hope to make some benefits for today’s construction and protection.”...
