The Research About Functional Structure And Design Of Mental Health Center

The twenty-first century, due to social pressure increases and rapiddeterioration of the natural environment, mental illness has become the mainthreat to human health diseases. With the social and medical technologycontinues to progress and develop, people’s mental health needs are alsoincreasing, and mental illness has also been given more and more attention,which have contributed to the rapid development of mental health center.Although our country had established the first mental health center110years ago,but there is still a huge gap compared with developed countries. Mental hea lthcenters in our country are in the new period of expansion, its special designresearch is particularly important.This thesis mainly in mental health centers as the main object of study,through the new medical model, design and other related theories of mentalhealth research, the use of methods summarized，proposed the main functionalareas of mental health center, including outpatient, inpatient and rehabilitationareas, and discussed its functional relationship and site layout.Based on the case research of domestic Mental Health Centers combinedwith foreign experience in the design of mental health centers, domestic mentalhealth centers exists issues which function is imperfect, design is unreasonable,proposed optimization suggestions and strategies on the functional structure ofoutpatient, inpatient area, the behavior of flow lines and the main design node.Integrated outpatient area functional structure, proposed the forms of internalspatial organization, optimized the space plane of waiting area, made humanewaiting space design elements; Adjusted inpatient ward area division method,cleared the basic function of the nursing unit, made the ward appropriate nursingunit space form, and do research on the ward space of nursing unit.Rehabilitation area is scarce currently, based on the specific use of the crowd,introduced a variety of rehabilitation function, and proposed major forms ofinternal spatial organization and related design elements in rehabilitation area.This paper systematically provided certain theoretical basis for the researchof mental health center, combining with the domestic practical problems of the mental health center, provided functional structure and design reference.
