In the process of China urbanization, urban traffic motorization has a massiveand rapid development, cities are facing severe traffic issues in our country,specially the traffic jam and crowded, urban road network has been overtaxed. Facedsuch issues, our country put forward the demand of urban land intensivedevelopment which Large capacity public transport guide, our country cities build alarge number of public transportation system, but due to the current land planningalong tne traffic is not reasonable, the urban traffic congestion problem cannot beeffectly cured. In this context, this paper puts forward the research on mixed-use ofurban transportation corridor on the basis of the principles of meridian science.Summarizes the existing key problems in three aspects——the station and thesurrounded function layout pattern don’t match, the station and the surroundedfunctional structure and development intensity don’t match, Functional spacedevelopment is imperfect. The root cause lies in the lack of a system planningperspective. Analysis the life characteristics of city, introduce the systematicperspective of meridian science. Analyze the meridian characteristic of the trafficcorridor, proves that the mixed use is an important character on transportationcorridor, which as meridians, and analyze the relationships of transportation corridormixed use again. Translates the influence mechanism of transpotation corridor basedon meridian science, which is the system-linear effect, part-associated effect, andnode-dot effect. Based on above-mentioned, analysises the effect mechanism oftransportation coridor mixed use in several aspects, which is range of influence,influence factors, effect mechanism on mixed use, and development process.Divided into there levels of system, part and node for transportation corridor mixeduse pattern research. Refines three typical types (finance, business, and community)for analysising their pattern characteristic, functional composition and layout,building form, transportation organization. Summarizes the pattern caractor ofdiffurent nodes of transportation corridor. Summarizes the characteristic of functionlayout and spatial form at the level of systerm. Finally based on the above contentanalysis, put forward there design principles, design strategy in there spects.This article hopes to study the transpotation corridor mixed use with a newsystem view. Makes a great significance to realize the traffic and planningintegration development, public transportation is a guidance for urban, solve theurban traffic issues and so on. Promote the progess of transportation corridor mixeduse, build a new city shaft, transportation corridor becomes the backbone of urbandevelopment, to promote urban function structure will be improved. Based on the theory of meridian science, perfect the two crossed interdisciplinary research, hasgreat significance for the construction of urban design theory localization in China.
