Research On The Types Of Innovative Thinking In Contemporary Chinese Young Architects

Since human constructed for survival, architecture has innovated again and again:from the nest and cave of the original structures, to modernism, post-modernism,architectural forms and theory become more and more complicated. Particularly in recent30years, based on absorbing and drawing lessons from foreign architectural design theory,Chinese young architects who have the broadest education, the most liberal mind, andadhere to the self to go for innovation, have created a new vision of architecture which isdifferent from the international style. They have built such a wonderful world!In allusion to the phenomenon of today’s various architectural style and innovativetheory, this paper put to use the theoretical results cognitive psychology, gestalt psychology,phenomenology, linguistics, neuroscience, innovation, innovation thinking to groom thecontemporary Chinese young architects’ innovation from the aspect of thinking. It discussesthe process of architecture design, structural factors, influence factors and other aspects ofthe content, and looks for the architects’ characteristics and structure of innovative thinking.Depending on the structure, make a classification to the overall innovative thinking.First of all, by collecting, sorting, studying the theoretical results of innovativethinking in psychology, philosophy and architecture, defines the the concept of architecturaldesign innovative thinking and its four features. It will be beneficial to make a theoreticalbasis for the later evaluation of the process of architectural design innovative thinking.Secondly, through a long period of observation, describe the general process ofarchitectural design, and, according to the information processing theory, analysis thearchitectural design consists of information input, information processing and informationoutput. Information processing is the core stage of architectural design innovative thinking,which is made up of yuan thinking, primary language and values. And make a classificationto each element.Again, combine the sub-items of yuan thinking, primary language and values, anddemonstrate the possibility of its existence, then we have8types of innovative thinking:humanity type, eclectic type, policy type, gestalt type, priori type, low technology type,phenomenology type and perception type.Finally, select a group of representative sample of young architects to show theirarchitectural works that is under the guidance of all kinds of innovative thinking.
