Research On Applicability Of Belt Conveyor Damping Board To Prevent Slipping

Belt conveyor is widely used in many fields, it has a stronger transmission ability and adaptable to the environment ability. If the conveyor belt is broken or retrograde, conveyor belt and conveying material will slide down with the action of gravity. Therefore some measures must be taken to prevent the conveyor belt to slide down when the conveyor belt is destroying or retrograding.This paper research on installation damping plate under the conveyor belt, and the way of antiskid relying on friction between conveyor belt and damping plate. Conveyor belt and damping plate without contact When belt conveyer is working normally. When the conveyor belt is destroying or retrograding, the conveyor belt tension will decrease suddenly, conveyor belt will contact with the damping plate and create friction.Supportwd by dynamics theory of belt conveyor, Simplification and assumptions,this paper do research on dynamic simulation of the displacement and speed, the conveyor belt when the conveyor belt is destroying or retrograding.The main contents are as follows:1. Theoretical analysis (1) According to the mechanics foundation of belt conveyor, this paper deduces the elasticity modulus of conveyor belt.(2) Based on the mechanical property when belt conveyor is working normally, this paper analyse the tension of the conveyor belt.(3) Based on the frictional characteristic of belt conveyor and damping plate, this paper deduces the of belt conveyor and damping plate tribological model,and then designs the shape of the damping plate.2. Dynamic simulation(1) This paper simulates the sag of belt conveyor with the help of Anays, And determines the installation position of the damping plate. The belt conveyor model was simplified according to the certain theory,and established a model of belt conveyor with the help of software.According to the actual situation,add appropriate constrains and loads.(2) We set the mechanism and features of belt conveyor of damping plate as destroying and retrograding. We set four different dip Angle of belt conveyor and different number of damping plates under the conveyor belt during the simulation.Then we get velocity and displacement changes of the conveyor belt.3. Comparison and analysisWe compare the velocity and displacement changes of the conveyor belt,and find the the most reasonable installation program of the damping plate when the belt conveyor has a angle different. This paper research on prevent slippery effect of the damping plate,it has a theoretical reference value for research of belt conveyer antiskid way and application of damping plate in belt conveyor.
