When the lower belt conveyor is running without load or the conveyor itself has a large running resistance,the motor is in a normal driving state and drives the drum to operate normally.When the downward belt conveyor loads materials and runs downward,the sliding component force of the materials will be greater than the running resistance of the conveyor.The motor is in the state of feedback power generation,and the feedback torque provided by the motor resists the sliding component of the material,and an additional braking device is required to achieve normal stopping.The large volume and large inclination of the downward belt conveyor will also increase the difficulty of braking,which can easily lead to safety accidents.Therefore,the braking problem of the downward belt conveyor becomes the key.Based on the comprehensive research on the braking problem of the downward belt conveyor,permanent magnet damping rollers will be arranged on the conveyor line for speed control of the conveyor and auxiliary parking brake.The main contents of the permanent magnet damping roller used in the downward conveyor belt conveyor in this subject are:First of all,on the basis of understanding the structure of ordinary rollers and the working principle of various forms of damping rollers,complete the structural design of permanent magnet damping rollers.Based on the three-dimensional modeling software Solidworks,the three-dimensional model of each part of the damping roller is accurately established according to the structural affiliation between the components of the permanent magnet damping roller,and the entire roller assembly is completed in strict accordance with the model size.Secondly,several different calculation methods of eddy current braking at home and abroad are studied,and a more appropriate calculation method is selected.Complete the derivation of the damping torque calculation formula,and obtain the relationship between the speed and the damping torque.Thirdly,the 3D model is introduced into the finite element simulation software Maxwell,and the working principle of permanent magnet damping roller is analyzed and verified.On this basis,the static and transient magnetic field,the magnitude of magnetic induction intensity,the spread of magnetism force line,and the eddy current spread on the aluminum tube surface of ferrite are researched.Then the effect of air space thickness,permanent ferrite thickness and idler speed on damping torque is researched.Finally,through the conveyor belt indentation resistance test platform,the indentation resistance of ordinary rollers and permanent magnet damping rollers of the same specification were tested under ambient temperature,stable load,and different belt speeds.The measured data of the ordinary roller and the permanent magnet damping roller are calculated to obtain the torque of the roller,and then the processed data is compared with the finite element simulation analysis.To sum up,this paper completes the design of permanent magnet damping roller,the derivation of damping torque,the finite element simulation analysis and experimental verification,which provides theoretical support for the further study of permanent magnet damping roller.
