In recent years, as the economy sustained, and rapid growth, high-rise or ultra-high complex structures are developing rapidly. Because of functions of the diversity and complexity of the structures. The high-rise towers with high conversion layer structure seismic design more and more attended by people. With China’s new revision of the architectural design seismic code GB500112010,the proposing of the goal of seismic performance-based design, make people on how to establish seismic performance-based design goal, how to realize the design goal spread a wide range of research and discussion. Based on this, through to the high-rise towers with high conversion layer structure preliminary studied, main conclusions are reached as follows:1. Through a high-rise tower to more with high conversion layers structure seismic performance-based design, this paper puts forward different structure components in minor, moderate and major earthquake the seismic performance-based design goal, and in the structural design of the corresponding structure design and construction measures to achieve. The results show that the seismic performance-based design of complex structures was feasible.2. By used finite element software SATWE and PMSAP, the structure of in minor and moderate earthquake of vibration mode decomposition response spectrum analysis and elastic time history analysis. By used elastic-plastic static analysis method (Push-over method) the structure of major earthquake pushover analysis, revealed the results under different components of the plastic hinge in process and the ability of earthquake collapsed, through the structure with performance-based design goal contrast, verify the rationality of the design of structure and seismic performance targets.3. By used the high accuracy finite element software FEQ, ANSYS and SLABCAD to structure the transfer member supplementary analysis. Further understanding of some of the important components of the structure in minor, moderate and major earthquake in case of force and deformation characteristics obtained high conversion layer structure under the earthquake force. For high conversion layers structure of the seismic work have certain reference function.
