Today’s domestic research of testing system for EV drive motor is in a veryelementary stage. During develop a testing system for EV drive motor, the test of aelectrical motor’s performance is indispensible. Therefore, form and research the testingsystem is quite necessary. This dissertation has thoroughly studied the testing system for EV drive motor, including data gathering system, data analysis and processing system. Through idle, load, and stall test mode to collect the data, analysis and calculation based on these data, depictedthe attribute curve, use the conclusion of analysis to evaluate the performance of theelectrical motor and whether it fits the national standards. EV manufactories can use thosedata above to abridge the developing period of a EV.The testing system complete the selection and configuration of the sensor based on theanalysis of demand. And the basic structure of the testing system, sensor data collection, VIdata communication, LabVIEW data management and data collection, PC bus datatransportation, is based on the accurate high speed data collection and data collection andman interface.Through testing of the electrical motor, accomplished the analysis of motortemperature climb attribute, motor working attribute, motor torque-rpm attribute, motordisperse dissipation.Base the trait of the system sensor output signal to design circuits of the system signalprocessing, including the signal modulation circuit, signal conversion and cache module, signal transportation circuit. Utilize LabVIEW design environment to develop interfaces ofthe testing system and complete the data process, analysis, retrieve simultaneously.Lastly, applied the testing system to the laboratory motor control testing platform anduse dynamometer QABP280S2A as a load, to test three-phase synchronous motor. Fromthe results we can see that the testing system can accomplish analyzing the attributes of theelectrical motor, reach the design parameter requirements with great accuracy, and thehuman-machine interface is easy and convenient to use.
