Hydraulic pressure transmission is a new technique which use fresh water or sea water as working medium for energy transfer and control, it has become one of the important development direction in fluid drive and control technology field with clean, environmental protection,safety,energy saving ad vantages. Due to the late hydraulic technology studies,it was still in the basic research stage in China, but hydraulic pressure stand imply the platform for hydraulic pressure transmission.Therefore,it is of high value to study on high performance hydraulic pressure stand.In this paper, hydraulic pressure transmission and its merits and drawbacks,development tendency and research status of hydraulic components and stand were summarized,at the same time,the research content and design thought of this paper was brought up.Based on the principle of test stand and design request,the hydraulic pressure components,power components,electrical equipments and measurement and control system hardware were determined,structure and test hardware of each part of the stand was designed and analysed, finally the whole stand was completed. The possible interference was efficiently prevented.Due to the request of the lab test, modularizaion program was brought up to design the test and control system, the address and parameter of signal access of the system were chosen with help of LabVIEW software. The main test program and each subprogram was designed in detail, the signal conditioning, parameter calibration as well as curve fitting method was given.The lab test system model was built by AMEsim software, its static characteristic were analysed with help of an ideal hydraulic pump and valve, and finally the characteristic curve of the pump and valve was got. Pilot proportional overflow valve and gear pump were studied by the test stand,their characteristic curve was showed, the reason for error was analysed and the solution could be reached. Finally, through analyzed the experimental test curve of the measured pump valve indicated that the technical parameters of the self-developed hydraulic pump valve performance test bench reached the predetermined design requirements of the subject.
