Dongyi culture is based on the totem worship of phoenix bird, which hasimportant guiding significance throughout the process of people integration.This paper takes Qingzhou Dongyi culture in the modern landscape as the breakthroughpoint, makes the application in Shandong Qingzhou Dongyi culture ecology garden as thefoothold, through field research, analysis, investigation, discussion, form the conceptualdesign scheme, which convey the importance of original characteristic culture of buildmodern landscape. It makes the Dongyi culture and ecology together in the Dongyi cultureecology garden of Qingzhou, which not only could let everybody understand Dongyi culturalhistory, but also make full use of local plants in ecological planting configuration. Therefore,it will achieve the unity of art and rationality, as well as have the sustainable development ofecological road. Investigation, induction, summary and research in Qingzhou regional cultural could helpto integrate and utilize the Dongyi cultural resources, especially it will has important guidingsignificance to build the modern landscape of Dongyi feature. At the same time, it willprovide some new ideas, inspiration and creation for the present city transformation andconstruction, landscape construction.
