With the depth development of industrialization and information technology,three-dimensional (3D) design technology has become an important auxiliary tool toutilize in engineering design, project construction, management for the domestic andforeign high level engineering company. At present, the3D design technology has beenwidely applied in the power plant, petrochemical industry, textile industry etc. In china3D design technology has been widely used in thermal power plants, nuclear powerplant. However, in the substation area, using3D design is extremely rare,3D designresearch is insufficiency.At present, substation engineering design commonly adopts the traditionalapproach of two-dimensional design that relays on engineers’ special imagination andbasic drawing skills to complete special design in a low efficiency. At the same time themarket has put forward higher requirements on design institutes, therefore from theperspective of project management and operation, the transfer of paper files cannot meetthose requirements. A new question to be considered is that how to ensure all relevantdrawings to be updated in time when there are changes in the wiring diagram duringconstruction, so as to achieve electronic transfer of engineering data of the mainnetwork and meet the requirements of enterprise-level asset management systems.This thesis through the creative development using Bentley3D substation system,design and implementation3D collaborative platform, based on the software, developand design enterprise graphics library,3D model library. Through the research of3Dproducts requirement, specification and design process, analysis and create a set ofenterprise3D design standards. Realize the3D design, the safety collision detection,and extraction function of layout drawings. Improve work efficiency and design quality.Laid the foundation for the future digital transfer of substation, and provide referencefor domestic substation3D design development.
