With the development of smart transformer station in our country, there will be higher and higher requirement in the AC and DC power source system in the transformer stations. Independent, disperse, power-wasting AC and DC power source in the original power systems could not meet the need of intelligence any more. So moving towards to the direction of intelligence, integration, energy conservation is urgent.This paper focuses on the application of the smart substation with AC and DC integrated station-used power system. Research and demonstration results showed that:using the smart substation with AC and DC integrated station-used power system could do better in control and management. Including realizing disperse data acquisition, control and centralized supervisory management, check up parameters of power source in a long distance, running status, event information and so on,as well as modifing system parameters, mode of operation, remote control of switch apparatus, with the addition of realizing the intelligence of condition based maintenance and management, as a result, improving reliability, security and economy of the power source system. Thus it can be seen:intelligence, integration, energy conservation is the development direction of the station-used power system on the smart substation.After a comprehensive demonstration, this paper recommends the application of the AC and DC integrated station-used power system in the YuCiBei500kV substation, and as the supplement of the station-used power system, solar photovoltaic power generation system has been accessed in the substation. With the rapid development of the intelligent technology, the mass production of intelligent module will cause the reduction of the production cost, its advantages will become more apparent.
