The Construction And Application Of The Transmission Line Condition Monitoring Center And System

China has vast territory with more than one million kilometers of transmission line. A stable and reliable operating power system is significantly related to the country’s economic development and social stability. And the safe operation of transmission line is an important part of the whole power network’s stable operation. To master the operating state of transmission line in time, on one hand we can through regular personal inspection, on the other hand advanced management ideas and technical equipments can be introduced through information technology. This paper presents the construction proposal and application effect of the transmission line statement monitoring center and monitoring system. The monitoring system can achieve security warning, decision support, visual management and other functions based on advanced data model and integration of multiple application platforms. The system also has the function of collection, processing, storage, display and application of important state variables of transmission line such as meteorological environment, channels, wire, tower and so on. Dangerous points of transmission equipments can be better monitored by researching image intelligent judgment and warning technology. The information can be integrated with PMS, GIS, weather,lightning locating system and protection system by analyzing the transmission line communication network and optimizing the principle of selection. This system solves the problems of monitoring devices information silos, internal and external network isolation, streaming media and high-speed transmission and information integration of PMS, GIS, weather system, lightning location system and protection system. With the integration of dynamic monitoring and static network information, the monitoring system can not only meet the requirements of daily operation, fault repair and emergency command of transmission lines, but also improve the inspection and maintenance efficiency, and the lean management level of transmission line. The system has a positive and far-reaching significance for promoting the intelligent level of power grid and the condition operating of the transmission line.
