| Since the first intelligent building in the world was built up in Hartford, American, in1984, intelligent buildings gain rapid development around the world. Meanwhile, various household intelligence systems emerge at the right moment. The gauge in residence community, which can copy-read and monitor automatically, is the important component of household intelligence systems. As the research and implication of household intelligence system starts quite late in China, there exist some problems, such as maintenance difficulty, high cost, and less reliability.In order to solve the existing problems, it is necessary and urgent to develop a practical system which can both fulfill the basic functions and meet the domestic demand. This research does some surveys and design on long-distance serial data communication of microcomputer in meter reading and monitoring system, data acquisition and security alarm of gauge in automatic meter reading and monitoring system. The new system could automatically read-copy and monitor gauges such as water meter, ammeter, and gas meter, and has functions of Combustible gas leakage alarm and fire alarm, electricity safety alarm.This thesis takes communications among microcomputer, SCM, ZigBee module, and RS-485module as the core, and then designs out an intelligence meter reading and monitoring system in residence community, which combines with wireless and wired communication. This thesis introduces the concept of intelligent community, overall plan and structure diagram of meter reading system; operating principle, hardware structure and software writing idea of each part in the system;485communication protocols; host computer meter reading and the compiling of processing data software; MSComm ActiveX, corpus implication; and the analysis on anti-jamming and reliability of the system.The thesis summarizes characteristics and of intelligence meter reading and monitoring system in residence community; and introduces its implication; then points out perfection trend of this system. The design system can fulfill schedule basic functions, and the test effect is good. The system is simple and reliable, cheap and practical, flexible in configuration, thus has certain degree of marketing prospect. |
