Study On Application Of Local Materials In Xian City Park

With China’s accelerated pace of urbanization, urban environmental problems havebecome increasingly prominent. Park as an important part of urban green space system, areplaying an increasingly important role. While ignoring ecological benefits, lack of culturalexpression, novelty divergent, blind copy, over-reliance on modern new materials and manyother issues also restricting the sustainable development of the modern city park. Therefore,the Xi’an area of native materials to integrate resources, to create a unique landscape withXi’an area, garden construction can better solve the problems.This paper put forward in recent years to maintain ancient capital of Xi’an, based on theconcept of building a modern urban development and landscape construction problems in theprocess, as an entry point to the city park, a clear concept of local materials, dig the localcharacteristics of the material, investigated the Xi’an area of native material resources,including types, features and landscape use value, discusses the principles of local landscapeconstruction materials and methods. It also investigates the construction of Xi’an major urbanpark status and use of local materials situation, summed up the city park in Xi’an nativematerial landscape types, application forms, and points out the deficiencies in the applicationprocess, put forward relevant proposals.In this thesis, theory and practice through the integrated use of a variety of analyticalmethods, expanding the scope of the concept of local materials, dig a native landscapematerials application value, explore the local material culture of the city park area expressway, protection and development of the ancient city of Xi’an geographical and culturalcharacteristics have an important role in promoting improved designers and audienceawareness level of local materials, local materials of the future landscape of applications tocreate a macro outlook, and establish a "man and nature, tradition and modernity harmony "ofthe modern urban landscape development concept.
