Study On Healing Garden Design In Urban Community Outside Enviroment

The residential outdoor environment as an important part of city space environment. It’s one of themost relation in the daily life of residents, and can show the living standards and reflect the people’slivelihood. In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economy and the improvement ofpeople’s living standard, we have payed more and more attention to the quality of living environment. Inurgent need of good ecological environment, active atmosphere of life and physical and mental health.People want to replace the traditional through environmental health care function of medical mode, so theycan alleviate or recover strength from the nature. Therefore, it is time to fetch in the concept of "healingGarden" in our outside living environment.Healing gardens, from the broad sense, refers to the various characteristics of garden，like trees,flowers, and water, it can speed up the pressure or the recovery from the disease, patients and their familycan receive the positive effect. Eckerling considered that: garden in rehabilitation for the purpose, lettingpeople feel comfortable; Its purpose is to let a person a sense of security, a less stress, more comfortableand energy.This paper is an exploration of the healing garden and healing landscape. I started from the needs ofthe residents and the residential outdoor environment situation, expounds the purpose and significance ofthis study:the residents can enjoy the most humane,most caring and most healthful landscape in the mostconvenient environment. secondly, through the introduction of healing garden’s concept andfunction,classified the Healing gardens meticulous according to different groups,like the elderlypeople,groups of children,the semi-health people and disabled;the therapy is divided into horticulturaltherapy, traditional Chinese medicine therapy and play therapy. then started from the elements oflandscape and the principles of design, based on the practical investigation and China’s national conditions,explore a positive way to design the space,the road,the water,the facilities and the plant landscape.From thepoint of generality, humanistic care, safety, economy, I summed up the need to focus on problems inpractical construction.This paper has the following innovation:1.Present research and application of Healing Garden place is limited to the medical service, health carefacilities.There are too many restrictions here, and the service scope is small. To this end, I hopes to people can universal healing garden concept in the most convenient and frequently environment－the residentialoutdoor environment.2.The paper discuss the key points of landscape elements, so as to recover different people, and provide thecorresponding rehabilitation needs.3.Combine with the therapy of TCM, and the application characteristics of the plant,to create a consistentrehabilitation therapy for our people.
